Food has dropped, prices haven't

I finally dared to go out to eat in Henninger's Gutsschänke again, because I heard that the old cook who stopped about 2 years ago is back! Everything I ate was exactly as I knew it from before (perfect taste) I write that here so explicitly because I was there a number of times in between and the quality deteriorated extremely, now I can recommend this restaurant again with a clear conscience, onion soup is as I know it from there (very tasty) rump steak fried to the point and tender as a pig, and finally the old salad dressing again! The service by Ms. Gabi and Mr. Jeske left nothing to be desired !!!! Ll be back soon ...

My husband and I find the inn to be unimportant for all occasions whether with a partner, acquaintances or family. I can highly recommend the restaurant! Super great and polite service. I think all the local staff did a good job there, and what I can really recommend are the desserts. Grandpa, Grandma and I were there for the fifth time and tried a little something new each time we visited.

The inn is super easy to reach! The good transport connections make it easy to take a jaunt there, and it has never happened to us before that a dish came cold on the table. The selection of drinks also left nothing to be desired, there you can get both: friendly and brisk waiter, we also think the prices are absolutely ok.

The goose legs were dry the dumplings lumpy and dilapidated the red cabbage inedible (roux). The wild goulash fade the sauce! Only the Saumagen with fried potatoes were good. Schade had me so much looking forward to it and have eaten in recent years not as bad as yesterday.

A ragout fin in the West of the Republic, I've never seen and eaten since. The food was absolutely fine, the value for money was impeccable.

Space steak was not very tender, potato salad smelled a bit rancid (as bise as it sounds) and the schnitzel was a bit dry. Unfortunately, only the fried potatoes convinced ... too bad ... For this quality it is too expensive.

Good little-known restaurant, not many people because 15-20 minutes walk from the main square. But for those who like calm, I recommend this restaurant to hear about it is nice, I went there twice in 2018 and one a few days ago. The food is not gourmet but I find it good schnitzel (schnitzel pannée) or red meat was well cooked. The correct prices between 15 to 20 the dish. English card available.
